Colbe College was born out of a need identified by Belinda and Colleen for better qualified teachers and assistants to work in the Educare Sector. This need demands improved levels of tuition, more practical experience and robust graduate assessments, which Colbe College intends to address. In addition, many years of experience in managing, maintaining, and cleaning the Educare Centre, provides a great opportunity to create supplementary courses for these critical roles.
In the short term, Colbe College intends to provide a hybrid learning environment combining classroom and distance learning services via MS Teams with in-person assessments and practical components, to ensure that the learner can apply the theory.
Over the long term, Colbe College will adopt Google Classroom as its LSM. Further down the line, it will expand into other trade sectors. As we learn our market, we may expand to provide an employment portal where employers and graduates can find each other.
Our clientele are adult learners from the general public and ECD owners, principals and staff.
